The 2015-2016 Season in Review

Nebula Ensemble just completed a highly successful second season – here are a few highlights:

Awards

On May 27th, 2016 Nebula Ensemble received two awards for outstanding performance from the Lamont School of Music – the second year in a row Nebula has received this honor!

Denver Art Museum

Nebula Ensemble was featured in the Denver Art Museum's Untitled Final Friday Series in a collaboration with local artists Katie Caron and Martha Russo and composer Sarah Perske.

Contemporary Music + North Indian Dance

We worked with the wonderful Kathak dancers of Sureela Ensemble for our May 1st 2016 concert, "Ritual: earth, water, air, fire, void."

Collaborations with Local Artists

Our composers drew inspiration from the work of local artists Amy Metier, Katie Caron, Martha Russo, and Herbert Bayer to bring you “Music Inspired by American Art” on October 20th, 2015 (pictured above: Nathan Cornelius‘ Bayer-inspired work, “love is more thicker than forget (chromatic intersections”).
