Electroacoustic music – music that features both electronics and performance on traditional acoustic instruments – has become a staple of contemporary classical music concerts today…but what’s actually happening when classical musicians play alongside a laptop? Local composer Stephen Bailey explains and demonstrates the fascinating world of electroacoustic music for the average listener who wants to learn more about this unique genre!
