I love how the frost emphasizes the strange curvature of the dormant aspen in the foreground, and how it contrasts with the pines. Ridges and misty sky in the distance make this section of landscape look like a little mystical world of its own. Of the many photos I took after the frost, I judged that this one best captured the strange beauty of this peculiar morning.
