jeremy_corren_picture - Version 2Jeremy Corren is a pianist and composer currently studying at Columbia University. His early contact with music as a pianist working in the jazz idiom eventually led him to pursue an interest in composition, and he attempts to preserve the spontaneity of his improvisational work when writing new music for chamber ensemble. In 2015, he composed new works for members of the New York-based Wet Ink Ensemble and counter)induction ensemble, premiered respectively in New York City and Dublin, NH. As a pianist, he has performed as a soloist at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
