Nebula Ensemble kicks off its 2015-2016 season with a unique sensory experience: five newly-commisioned pieces presented alongside images of the artworks that inspired them!

The concert includes musical interpretations of Herbert Bayer’s “Four Chromatic Intersections on Gold” Amy Metier’s “A Delicate Balance” (currently on display at the DAM), Katie Caron and Martha Russo’s massive installation “apoptosis” (underwritten by the DAM, on display 2010-2011), and Robert Motherwell’s early collages. Featured composers are Marc Migó (Barcelona), Sarah Perske (Denver), Jeremy Corren (New York), Nathan Cornelius (Baltimore), and Jasper Schmich Kinney (Denver).
