Whatever else it may be, music is a social activity. Noise becomes music through a coming together of audience members, performers, and composers in an act of creative, communal listening. In this concert, Nebula Ensemble explores and challenges the traditional relationships and roles of audience members, performers, and composers through an exciting program of new works that emphasize the social dynamics of music. The concert features works by Augustin Braud (France), Adam Hooper (Colorado Springs), Nolan Veldey (Riverdale, Maryland), Daniel Ehrlich (London, UK), and an interactive multimedia installation with sounds composed by you, the audience!
